Engineering Hope: How Biomedical Innovation is Transforming Stroke Recovery

BIAC Faculty Affiliate, Dr. Wayne Feng, and his team were highlighted by the Duke University School of Medicine for building one of the nation’s top-quality stroke programs here at Duke. His team focuses on utilizing non-invasive brain stimulation methods to treat post-stroke complications. Through methods such as low-intensity intensity focused ultrasound stimulation (LIFUS) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), Feng and his team are transforming stroke recovery and offering hope to stroke survivors.
